Admission

Don Bosco English Medium School

Admission Process

Normally new admission to Don Bosco School is taken in Class I only in the month of January. Admission to other classes depends on vacancies available, and is based on tests in the standard immediately below that for which admission is sought.

Applications for admission are accepted from students of all religious faith. However, Christians and tribals are given preference.

Once a child has been selected for admission, the parents should fill in the admission form with utmost care. No subsequent changes will be permitted later.

Signatures of both parents must be given on the admission form; either signatures will be valid for all transactions while the candidate continues to study.

The signing of the admission form constitutes an undertaking by the parents that they abide by the rules governing the school, as contained in the Prospectus or amended later.

New candidates must be introduced personally by the parents. They will be responsible for the fees as also the conduct and studies of their children.

Proper certificates with the names of the candidate and the parents must be submitted along with copies. No affidavits will be accepted. A Birth Certificate must be produced from the Municipal Corporation. Christian students must also present a certificate of baptism and a letter from their local pastor.

School transport is independent of admission.

The Principal is the final authority in all matters of admission into the school.

One may be considered admitted only after the payment of all dues required at the time of admission. Subsequent withdrawal or non-attendance on the required day will mean the cancellation of the admission and no refund will be made.
